the story

The Layo Teraga Coop is part of the larger Oromia Coffee Cooperative in Sidama, a region in Southern Ethiopia. Layo Teraga runs its own mill and has about 500 members supplying cherries to the station. This coffee was grown at an altitude of 1800 – 2200 meters and is an excellent example of why washed Ethiopian coffees are so sought after. This lot consists of Ethiopian heirloom varieties. Fresh and lively pineapple starts an exciting cup, a middle loaded with zesty fruits and a touch of ginger, and a honeysuckle blossom finish.
